Today I will share with you a crochet pattern of a heart-shaped astronaut from the once popular Among Us game, designed by Ekaterina Nikolaeva. The height of the crochet toy is about 12 cm. The designer used Himalayan Dolphin Baby yarn and a 4 mm crochet hook to make such a small astronaut.
Pink Among Us with Heart Crochet Pattern
In the pattern tutorial, you will also learn how to make a heart to decorate the Among Us character on February 14. However, this heart you will make is not made of plush but of cotton yarn, and the size of the crochet hook you will use is also different. Please do not forget to take this into account.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
– Yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby (plush);
– YarnArt Jeans yarn (semi-cotton);
– Hook 4 and 2mm (or other at your discretion);
– Filler (holofiber, ecofiber);
– Knitting marker (if necessary);
– Scissors, needle and thread to match, for stitching parts;
– Thin wire and a lighter (to singe the ends of the threads so that they do not fall off).

sc : Single Crochet
inc : Increase

PORTHOLE:
6ch, starting in the 2nd loop from the hook, we tie the chain on both sides:
Round 1: 4sc, inc from 3 sc (to the last ch), on the reverse side of the chain – 3sc, inc (12sc)
Round 2: inc, 3sc, 3inc, 3sc, 2inc (18sc)
Round 3: 18sc + sl st. Cut the yarn.
Embroider highlights along the porthole with white yarn.
BACKPACK:
Crochet rows 1 and 2 according to the description of the porthole.
Round 3-6: 18sc – 4 rows
Round 7: dec, 3sc, 3dec, 3sc, 2dec (12sc) + sl st.
Cut the yarn and sew a hole for it to make a backpack. Can be lightly filled with filler.
LEGS (2 parts) – BODY:
Round 1: 6sc in MR
Round 2: 6inc (12sc)
Round 3-5: 12sc – 3 rows + sl st.
Cut off the yarn at the first leg, do not need the second, continue crocheting.
Make 3 ch from the second leg and connect to the first leg with slst. We tie the parts:
Round 6: 12sc along the first leg, 3sc along ch between the legs, 12sc along the second leg, 3sc along the ch between the legs (30sc) Use a marker if necessary, it will pass along the back of the toy.
Round 7-16: 30sc – 10 rows
Stuff the toy with filler and keep stuffing until the loops are closed.
Round 17: (3sc, dec)*6 (24sc)
Round 18: 24sc
Round 19: (2sc, dec)*6 (18sc)
Round 20: (sc, dec)*6 (12sc)
Round 21: 6dec + sl st. Cut the yarn, pull off the hole.
ASSEMBLING THE TOY:
– Sew the porthole in front, between the 12th and 18th rows of the body;
– Sew on the backpack at the back, between rows 9 and 15.
HEART (cotton yarn ), hook 2mm:
Round 1: 5sc in MR
Round 2: 5inc (10sc) + sl st
Crochet 2 identical parts, cut theyarn of the first, do not cut the yarn of the second, continue crocheting.
Connect the parts together with slst and tie:
Round 3-5: 20sc – 3 rows
Round 6: (2sc, dec)*5 (15sc)
Round 7: (sc, dec)*5 (10sc)
Fill lightly with filler.
Round 8: 5dec + sl st
Cut the yarn, leaving 20cm in length.
Insert and secure the wire inside the heart.
It will be most convenient to fold it in half and sew it to the top of the heart using a yarn. Then wrap the wire with the remaining end of the yarn.
Insert a heart into the top of the astronaut’s head.
