Even though we are currently in the Halloween season, I want to share with you when I see such amazing looking amigurumi toys. I am sharing a wonderful doll pattern and I must say that it has a very nice appearance. The way to achieve this nice appearance is to use a special type of yarn in certain parts of the body of the toy. These types of yarn and other materials used are shared with us in detail.
Honeybun Amigurumi Doll Pattern
My favorite part of the doll is especially its hat. It has big bunny ears. A 3mm crochet hook is used in making the toy and you need to use 8mm safety eyes for its eyes.

Amigurumi
Work in the back loops
Working with soft yarn
X-stitch
You can choose to crochet normal single crochet stitches or opt for the X-stitch.
With this stitch, a cross appears, and there are fewer gaps between the stitches, making them lie closer together. Normally, you yarn over the hook twice in a single crochet stitch, but with this technique, you first yarn under the hook and the last time you yarn over the hook.

SAFETY WARNING FOR SAFETY EYES AND BUTTONS
Warning:
Safety eyes and buttons, often used in handmade dolls, can pose a choking hazard for small children, especially those under 3 years old. While the eyes and buttons may seem securely attached, they can potentially come loose due to heavy use or biting.
Safety Guidelines:
Always check that the safety eyes are securely fastened and installed according to instructions.
Avoid using buttons or small parts as decorations on dolls or toys intended for young children.
Use safety eyes and buttons only for dolls meant for decoration or for older children (over 3 years) who play under supervision.
Safe Alternatives:
To minimize risk, consider the following alternatives:
Embroidered Eyes and Details. Use yarn to embroider the eyes and mouth. This is completely safe and can be securely attached, eliminating any loose parts.
1. Felt Eyes. Cut small felt circles and sew them securely onto the doll. This provides a soft look without choking hazards.
2. Fabric or Crocheted Buttons. Instead of plastic buttons, you can make crocheted or fabric buttons and sew them on securely to the doll. This significantly reduces the risk.
3. By keeping these tips in mind, you can ensure that the doll is safe for children of all ages to play with.
